Joining a work and travel has three significant positive effects. Firstly, work and travel gives us the opportunity to broaden our horizon. When we go abroad, we meet new people and we can learn a new culture and a lot of new ideas from the people who live in there. Therefore we become more open-minded. Secondly, work and travel leads to gain experience of work-life. By getting a new job, we can learn new skills so we may develop ourselves. In addition, we can earn money which gives rise to us becoming self-sufficient. As a result of these, we learn a lot about work-life. Finally, the programme results in improving our language skills. If we meet new native people, we have to speak with them. Thanks to this, we do a lot of practice for speaking. Thus, we develop our language skills. To summarize, broadening our horizon, gaining experience of work-life and improving our language skills are positive effects of joining work and travel.
